At Elemental, we ensure our manufacturing processes, along with every other component of our business, are held to the highest of standards, including ethical and environmental practices.

Our bottles are designed, engraved, and printed in California, and manufactured in China.

Hydration & Care

We recommend hand washing our water bottles. With the exception of the natural stainless steel, all our hydration products feature either a water-based paint followed by a clear protective coating, or a powder coating, which can deteriorate when regularly exposed to high water temperatures and the rigorous environment of a dishwasher. For best results, wash your Elemental product with a long-handled soft bristle brush, soap, and warm water.

No. When water expands into a solid, it can damage the structure of the bottle.

No. All Elemental hydration products are made of stainless steel, and are not made for the microwave.

Our bottles and tumblers are all designed to carry carbonated beverages.

Health & Safety

Every Elemental hydration vessel is produced with high quality 18/8 stainless steel. Our sport caps are made of polypropylene #5. This plastic has been tested and is not known to leach any harmful chemicals or cause any health risks. It carries no bisphenols (BPA, BPS, etc), estrogenic activity (EA or estrogen leaching), or androgenic activity (AA or testosterone leaching).

The current Elemental water bottles have a powder coat finish. The coating is first applied as a dry powder and then cured under heat. Powder coat finishes are typically tougher and longer lasting than traditional paint.

Not on our watch! We use the best materials in our products here at Elemental. Our products are safe for you and good for the environment.

Elemental steel products and polypropylene lids have all been tested and carry no bisphenols (BPA, BPS, etc), estrogenic activity (EA or estrogen leaching), or androgenic activity (AA or testosterone leaching).

You don’t have to create an account. But creating an account allows you to track your order, save your shipping information (to make future orders easier), and view your order history.

If you have forgotten your password, enter your email on the “Log in” page. We will send you an email that will walk you through the process of resetting your password.

You can check the status of your order by going to the “Account Dashboard” and then selecting “View Order.” This will take you to a page that provides your status and tracking information, if applicable.

Shipping & Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you ordered a custom engraved product, then unfortunately we can not accept a return unless we made a mistake with the engraving content.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Custom Engraved Products
Unfortunately we cannot issue refund on customized products unless we have engraved a wrong text compared to the actual order because engraving leaves a permanent mark on the product.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Pricing & Billing

You only pay sales tax if you’re purchasing from within the state of California. If you’re purchasing from within the state of California, the amount of sales tax depends upon your city’s specific sales tax code.

If you log-in to your account, you will see your "Order History." Click on the order number to see a full detail page of your order.

Your credit card will be charged directly upon purchase of a product.

If requesting a refund or store credit for a return, this amount will appear back on your form of payment, or on your Elemental account, once the return is resolved in full.



When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.


How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
